Description
MACEDON. Mende . Circa 400-350 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 10.5 mm, 1.26 g, 12 h). Wreathed head of youthful Dionysos to left. Rev. Amphora with crescent above; to left ivy branch. HGC 577. SNG ANS 397. Attractive dark glossy patina. Good very fine.
From a European collection formed before 2010.
