Anonymous, 225-214 BC. Quadrigatus or Didrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 6.60 g, 11 h). Laureate janiform head of the Dioscouri. Rev. Jupiter, holding scepter and thunderbolt, standing right in a quadriga, driven to right by Victory who stands beside him; below, tablet, with angled sides, bearing ROMA in incuse letters. Crawford 29/3. Sydenham 64. Nicely toned and struck on a broad flan. Nearly extremely fine.
