CARTHAGE. Circa 290-270 BC. Stater (Electrum, 18.5 mm, 7.44 g, 12 h). Head of Tanit to left, wearing grain wreath, triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace with ten pendants. Rev. Horse standing to right; on ground line to right, pellet; in field next to horse's left hind leg, two pellets. Jenkins & Lewis Group VII, cf. 346. Clear and well-centered. Some roughness and pitting, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
