PONTOS. Taulara. Circa 100-85 BC. (Bronze, 20 mm, 7.84 g, 12 h). Male head (Ares?) right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. TAYΛA-PΩN Sheathed sword. HGC 7, 304 var. ( monogram to lower left ). SNG BM Black Sea 1290-2 var. ( monogram to lower left ). SNG Copenhagen 225 var. ( monogram to lower left ). Scarce. Very fine.
