Description
SATRAPS OF CARIA. Hidrieus, circa 351/0-344/3 BC. Drachm (Silver, 14 mm, 3.68 g, 1 h), Halikarnassos. Laureate head of Apollo facing, turned slightly to right. Rev. IΔΡΥΕΩΣ Zeus Laubraundos standing right, holding lotus-tipped scepter in right hand and double axe over shoulder with left. SNG Keckman 278. Light toning. A few minor deposits on the reverse, otherwise, about very fine.
