Description

BRUTTIUM. Rhegion . Circa 435-425 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 16.91 g, 1 h). Lion's mask facing. Rev. RΕCΙΝΟS ( retrograde Iokastos seated left. Herzfelder 53c ( this coin ). HN III 2488. Toned. With a clear obverse. Horn silver and some flatness on the reverse , otherwise, very fine.
