LYDIA. Tralleis. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophoric Tetradrachm (Silver, 16 mm, 12.44 g, 11 h), struck under the magistrate Ptol(emaios), year Δ = 4 = 130-129. Cista mystica with half-open lid from which a serpent issues to the left; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; above, ΠTOΛ; to left, Δ above TPAΛ; to right, Dionysos standing facing, holding long thyrsos with his right hand and mask of Silenos with the left.
