ISLANDS OFF CARIA, Kos. Circa 220-200 BC. Drachm (Silver, 14.5 mm, 2.99 g, 1 h), struck under the magistrate Philinos. Bearded head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. KΩION / ΦΙΛΙΝΟΣ Crab; below, club to right. BMC 83. HGC 6, 1313. Karl 357. SNG Keckman 293. SNG von Aulock 2757. Nicely toned. Tight flan, otherwise, very fine.
