ISLANDS OFF IONIA, Samos. Circa 412/1-406/5 BC. Half chalkous (Bronze, 8 mm, 0.37 g, 5 h). Prow of Samian galley left. Rev. ΣA Amphora within wreath. HGC 6, 1259. Cf. SNG Copenhagen 1691 ( prow to right ). Green patina. Very fine.
