AEOLIS. Aigai. 2nd-1st century BC. (Bronze, 15.5 mm, 2.67 g, 11 h). Helmeted head of Athena to right. Rev. ΑΙΓΑΕΩΝ Nike advancing left, holding wreath and palm; monogram to left and possibly also to right. SNG Copenhagen 12 var ( controls ). Dark green patina. Very fine.
