Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Denarius (Silver, 18mm, 3.79 g 7), Lugdunum, 8-7 BC. AVGVSTVS DIVI F Laureate head of Augustus to right. Rev. C.CA[ES] / AVGVS.F C. Caesar on horseback galloping to right; behind, eagle and two standards. BMC 500. Cohen 40. RIC 199. A very attractive, nicely toned example. Extremely fine.
