Description
BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 425-350 BC. Nomos (Silver, 21.5 mm, 7.67 g, 9 h). Eagle, with head turned to right, standing left on stag’s head. Rev. ϘPO Tripod, legs terminating in lion's feet; to left, ivy leaf. HN III 2146. SNG ANS 352 ( same obverse die ). Fine patina. Light roughness, otherwise, very fine.
