CAMPANIA. Neapolis. Circa 326/317-290 BC. Nomos or Didrachm (Silver, 20.5 mm, 7.27 g, 1 h). Diademed head of Parthenope to right, wearing pendant earring and pearl necklace; behind neck, Athena Promachos standing facing, holding spear and shield. Rev. NEOΠOΛITΩN Man-headed bull walking right; above, Nike flying right, placing wreath on bull's head. HN III 579. Sambon 479. SNG ANS -. SNG BN 804-6. Fine.
