LYDIA. Tripolis. Tiberius, with Livia, 14-37. (Bronze, 19 mm, 6.68 g, 1 h), struck under the magistrate Menander, son of Metrodoros, philocaesar for the fourth time. ΣΕΒΑΣΤ][ΟΝ ΚΑΙΣΑΡΑ ...ΤΤΙΝ ΤΡΙΠΟΛΕΙ Laureate head of Tiberius and draped bust of Livia, jugate, to left. Rev. ΜΕΝΑΝΔΡΟΣ ΜΗΤΡΟΔΩΡΟΥ ΦΙΛΟΚ[ΑΙΣΑΡ]/ ΤΟ Δ Radiate head of Helios to right. RPC I 3054. SNG Copenhagen 744. Dark green patina. Very fine.
