Diademed head of Demetrios II to right, with full beard; around, fillet border. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ / ΘΕΟΥ - ΝΙΚΑΤΟΡΟΣ Zeus, draped from the waist, seated to left on high-backed throne, holding Nike in his right hand and long scepter with his left; in outer left field, Ξ; below throne, Ο. SC 2166/2c. SMA 320. Attractively toned, with a superb portrait, well-struck on an oval flan. Some striking flatness, otherwise, extremely fine.
