Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet adorned with coiled serpent. Rev. AΛEΞANΔPOY Nike standing to left, holding wreath in her right hand and stylis in her left; at her feet to left, rudder; MIΛ on the right field. Newell, Salamis, 14. Price 3150 (same dies as the illustrated piece from the British Museum). Lustrous and attractive; extremely rare, Price only knew of a single example of this type. Good extremely fine.
