LUCANIA. Thourioi. Circa 443-400 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 7.83 g, 5 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing an Attic helmet ornamented with an olive branch. Rev. ΘΟΥΡΙΩ[Ν] Bull butting to right; in exergue, fish to right. HN III 1775. SNG ANS 900-14. Attractively toned, nicely centered and of excellent style. Very fine.
