Celticized head of Apollo to right, with particularly curly hair and two feather-like locks at the back of his neck, wearing a torc, an "earring" of three pellets and with a beaded truncation. Rev. [KAB]AΛΛOS: CON[TIIΘIL] Charioteer, holding kentron in his left hand and reins in his right, driving biga to right; below, lyre. De la Tour 5957 = Delestrée & Tache 2536. Delestrée & Tache S 2536a. An extremely rare and important type; clear and attractive. Good very fine.
