THRACE. Chersonesos. Circa 386-338 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 14 mm, 2.41 g, 3 h). Forepart of a lion to right, his head turned back to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with two raised and two sunken squares; in one of the sunken squares, pellet and monogram(?); in the other, amphora. BMC 21. Dewing 1305. McClean 4066. SNG Copenhagen 837. Weber 2406. Lightly toned. Obverse struck slightly off-center, bearing a small test cut on edge, otherwise, very fine.
