Description

BRUTTIUM, Terina. Circa 420-400 BC. Stater (Silver, 20mm, 7.77 g 4). ΤΕΡΙΝΑΙΟΝ Head of nymph to left, wearing pearl necklace and with her hair bound in a sphendone; behind, Π. Rev. Nike seated left on cippus, holding bird perching right on wreath in her right hand and resting her left on the cippus; below to right, Π. HN III 2616. Holloway-Jenkins 61. Regling 63. Nicely toned. Slightly porous surfaces and minor test cut on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
