IC XC Christ, nimbate with pellet in each arm, wearing tunic and colobium, seated facing on a throne with a back, raising his right hand in benediction and holding Book of Gospels in his left. Rev. +AΛEΞIΩ ΔEC-ΠOT' TΩ KM Half-length bust of Alexius facing, wearing loros, jewelled chlamys, and crown with pendilia, holding star topped scepter in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left.
