Probus, 276-282. Aureus (Gold, 21.5 mm, 5.56 g, 6 h), Siscia, 277. IMP C M AVR PROBVS AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Probus to right. Rev. ORIENS AVG / SIS Sol standing facing, his head turned to left, raising his right hand and holding globe in his left. Biaggi 1619. Calicó 4170 (this coin). Cohen 392. RIC 590D. Struck on a broad and heavy flan. Some marks and scrapes, otherwise, about extremely fine.
