Pax standing on parazonium to left, holding caduceus in her right hand; in field to left, PAX; in field to right, snake emerging from a cista; around, laurel wreath. BMC 691. Cohen 218. RPC 2203. RIC 476. A very clear and attractive specimen, with a rather intellectual-looking portrait of Augustus. Some very fine scratches on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
