Philip II, 359-336 BC. Stater (Gold, 19.5 mm, 8.61 g, 2 h), struck during the reign of Philip III, 323-315, Pella, c. 323/2 - c. 315. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Biga rushing to right, driven by charioteer holding goad in his right hand and reins in his left; below horses, thunderbolt. Le Rider 424 (D192/R314). A very attractive, well-centered and well-struck example of wonderful quality. Virtually as struck.
