Macedon
Neapolis. Circa 500-480 BC. Obol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.94 g). Facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. SNG ANS 423. Traite II, 1, 1742. A superb piece, beautifully toned and with fine surfaces. Extremely fine.
