Mygdones or Krestones. Circa 490-485 BC. 1/8 Stater (Silver, 12 mm, 1.09 g). Goat kneeling right on pelleted ground line, his head turned back to left; above and to right, pellet. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. SNG ANS 59ff (as Aigai). SNG Copenhagen 31. A wonderful, nicely toned, well-struck, clear and very attractive coin. Extremely fine.
