Thasos. Circa 411-404 BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.48 g, 9 h). Bald and bearded head of a satyr to right. Rev. ΘΑΣI Two dolphins, one above the other, swimming left and right; all within shallow incuse. HGC 340. Le Rider, Thasiennes 12. SNG Copenhagen 1033. A lovely coin of fine style. Lightly toned and centered. Reverse very slightly double-struck and with tiny scratch, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
