Description
MYSIA. Kyzikos. Circa 600-550 BC. Hemihekte or 1/12 Stater (Electrum, 7 mm, 1.34 g). Head of a tunny fish to left; below, hint part of a tunny to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Hurter & Liewald III 12.2. SNG von Aulock 7262. Cf. Von Fritze I 6 and pl. I, 5 (as a hekte). Same obverse die as CNG 109 (2018) 138. Very rare early variety. Nearly very fine.
