MACEDON. Pella. Circa 187-168/7 BC. (Bronze, 21 mm, 5.46 g, 12 h). Helmeted and draped bust of Athena to right; in the lower right field, E. Rev. ΠΕΛΛΗΣ Nike driving biga to right; below, grain ear to right. HGC 3, 612, SNG ANS 571 and SNG Copenhagen 256 var (all without E on the obverse). A fine example, and very unusual with the E on the obverse. Very fine.
