Description
LUCANIA. Metapontum. Circa 510-470. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 7.57 g, 12 h). ΜΕΤΑΠ Ear of barley with seven grains; around, border of dots. Rev. Ear of barley with seven grains, incuse; rayed border. HN III 1482. Toned. Rough area on the obverse, otherwise, about very fine.
From an old American collection, formed prior to 1970 and once belonging to a Caporegime in New Jersey.
