Description
CELTIC, Eastern Celts. Skordoski in Syrmia, Circa 3rd-2nd century BC. Drachm (Silver, 12 mm, 2.23 g, 3 h), imitating Philip II of Macedon, "Kugelwange/Dachreiter" type. Celticized laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. Horse galloping to left; above, wheel. Castelin 1282. Dembski 1110-1. A late example in the series. Very fine.
