Description
KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Drachm. (16mm, 3.97 g) Kolophon. Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; c/m: head of Apollo and monogram K within incuse circle. Rev: AΛEΞANΔPOY. Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Control: Monogram in below throne.
