Attalus I (241–197 BC). AR tetradrachm (28mm, 16.8 g). Pergamum, ca. 241–235 BC. Laureate head of Philetaerus right / ΦΙΛΕΤΑΙΡΟΥ, Athena enthroned left, crowning royal name and resting elbow on shield propped against throne, transverse spear in background, cornucopia in outer left field, EYMΘ monogram in inner left field, bow in outer right field.
