Description
Phrygia, Laodikeia on the Lykos AR (28.5mm, 11.9 g) Cistophoric Tetradrachm. Circa 53-51 BC. Apollonios Euarchos, magistrate. Serpent emerging from cista mystica; all within ivy wreath / Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; AΠOΛΛΩNIOΣ ΕΥΑΡΧΟΥ in two lines above, ΛΑΟ to left, kerykeion to right.
