Roman lead seal of Philippos
(ca 2nd-4th cent. AD)
Obv.: Men's bust to left, between greek letters Φ - I.
Rev.: Half of a horse riding to right, up and down greek letters Λ - Π.
Most possible reading of the inscription is ΦΙΛΙΠ(ΠΟΥ) (of Philippos, the oewner of the seal).
A nicely preserved seal with an attractive natural patina!
