Description

Lucania, Thurium Triobol circa 350-300, AR 11mm., 0.87g. Head of Athena r., wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with griffin. Rev. Bull butting r.; in exergue, aegis flanked by EY-ΦE. SNG ANS 1168. SNG Lloyd 501. Historia umorum Italy 1854 corr. (incorrectly listed as 1852).

Rare. Nice old cabinet tone, minor marks, Very Fine.

From a Swiss collection from Tessin assembled in the 1920's (sold with its original ticket).
