Lucania, Metapontum Nomos 340-330, AR 23mm., 7.83g. Laureate head of Zeus to right; behind head, thunderbolt. Rev. ΜΕΤΑΠΟΝ Barley ear with leaf to right; above leaf, ΚΑΛ. SNG ANS 412 (this obverse die). Johnston A 6.2. Historia Numorum Italy 1558.
Very rare. Lightly toned, traces of overstriking, otherwise very fine.
