Gordian III augustus, 238-244 Denarius circa 241, AR 20mm, 2.63 g. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev.VENVS VICTRIX Venus standing left, leaning on shield, holding helmet and sceptre RIC 131. C. 347. Issue for the marriage with Tranquillina.
