CAESAR – IMPER Wreathed head of Caesar r. Rev. M·METTIVS Venus standing l., holding sceptre and Victory, and resting l. elbow on shield which in turn rests on globe; in l. field, A. Babelon Julia 33 and Mettia 5. C 35. Sydenham 1055. Sear Imperators 101. Alföldi, Caesar, Pl. CXVIII, 150 (this coin illustrated). Crawford 480/17.

Rare. Lovely old cabinet tone, almost insignificant banker's mark on obv.; otherwise Extremely Fine.
