Thurium. Nomos signed by Molossos circa 400-350 BC, AR 7.97 g. Head of Athena r., wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Scylla hurling a stone. Rev. Bull butting r.; on exergual line, signature ΜΟΛΟΣΣΟΣ. In exergue, fish r. SNG ANS 1026. SNG Copenhagen 1433 var. (Scylla scanning). Historia Numorum Italy 1784 var. (Scylla scanning). Very rare. Old cabinet tone and good very fine / about extremely fine Ex NAC M, 2002, 2083 and Gorny & Mosch 207, 2012, 37 sales.
