Vespasian augustus, 69 - 79. Uncertain Western Mint.   Denarius circa 69 to 70, AR 3.31 g. IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVGVSTV Laureate head r. Rev. LIBERTAS – PVBLICA Libertas standing l., holding pileus and rod. C 259. BMC 360 note. RIC 1345 (this coin illustrated). CBN –.
Of the highest rarity, the finest of only two specimens known. A hairline flan crack
at nine o'clock on reverse, otherwise good very fine
