Description

Attica, Athens.   Tetradrachm circa 420-404, AR 17.15 g. Head of Athena r., wearing crested helmet, earring and necklace; bowl ornamented with spiral and three olive leaves. Rev. AΘE Owl standing r., head facing; in upper field l., olive twig with two leaves and berry. All within incuse square. Dewing 1621. Svoronos pl. XV, 35.
Wonderful old cabinet tone and extremely fine
