Greek Coins. Myriandrus.
Obol 4th century BC, AR 0.78 g. Marine deity (Dagon) l., body terminating in crested fish tail, holding trident and crown. Rev. Lion crouching r. over rocks. Traité II, cf. 1028 (Gaza, stater). SNG Levante 181. SNG France –, cf. 421 (stater).
Extremely rare. Lovely old cabinet tone, obverse from a worn die,
otherwise very fine / about extremely fine

Ex Busso Peus sale, 403, 2011, 150 (as Ashod).
The attribution of this issue to Myriandrus is based on Newell's "Myriandros-Alexandria Kat'Isson" (ANS AJN 1913), but further evidence is needed.
