Thessaly, Larissa. Drachm circa 348-336, AR 6.01 g. Head of nymph Larissa facing three quarters l., wearing ampyx; hair floating freely above head. Rev. Horse grazing r. Herrmann, Die Silbermünzen von Larissa in Tessalien, pl. 5 n. 5. Kraay-Hirmer, pl. 148 n. 468. Lorber, Hoard, phase L-III.
A very appealing small coin, perfectly centered on a broad flan with,
wonderful light iridescent tone and a very delicate portrait.
Minor mark on reverse otherwise good extremely fine
