Textile Printing. 1st Prize, 1939.); with apparently related Victory Medal, 1914-1920 (212550 Pte. J. W. Felton. Labour Corps.); medals practically as issued in original packaging (6) M.i.D.: London Gazette: 23 May 1946 for gallant and distinguished services in the Mediterranean Theatre Sergeant John Haworth of 10 Cawley Terrace, Blackley, Manchester, was born on 31 March 1915 and worked as a Colour Mixer in the Textile Industry in the Manchester area before WW2. He enlisted for wartime service with the R.A.O.C. on 15 August 1940. Reaching the rank of Sergeant, he saw active service in Italy and was given a post-war Mention In Despatches in the London Gazette of 23 May 1946.
