Charles I, Aberystwyth mint, groat, m.m. book, large bust left, rev., plumes without bands (N. 2337; S. 2891; Morrieson A-1; SCBI Brooker 760-63), creased, very fine; Oxford mint, threepence, 1644, by Rawlins, rev., plume without band flanked by two small lis (N. 2471; S. 2894; MorriesonB-3; SCBI Brooker 961), creased behind king head, with resultant crack, weak in places, good fine (2) Formerly ex Dr E. Burstal Collection.
