Elizabeth I, sixpences (93), third and fourth issue, 1572, 2 of date inverted (2), one creased, both only fair and clear, rare as an uncorrected error; 1572/2 inverted, 1572 (19), 1573 (8, one with bust 5A), all m.m. ermine, 1573, m.m. acorn (8- 5 over ermine on rev.), m.m. eglantine, this bent and rather worn, poor but clear, a very rare date for the mark, 1574, m.m. acorn (2), m.m. eglantine (15), 1575/4 (2), 1575 (12), 1576 (2), all m.m. eglantine; fifth issue, 1578/7, 1578 (11), 1579 (6), all m.m. Greek cross (one over eglantine on rev.) (BC bust 4B; 5A; N. 1997; S. 2562; 2563), hoard stained, many damaged or creased, one pierced, otherwise generally poor to fine (93)
