Kingdom of Macedon, Philip II AR Tetradrachm. Amphipolis, circa 355-349/8 BC. Laureate head of Zeus to right / ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ, Philip on horseback to left, raising hand; M below raised foreleg. Le Rider Group IB, 67-8 var. (O32/R– [unlisted rev. die]); SNG ANS 467; HGC 3.1, 861. 14.49g, 25mm, 4h.

Good Extremely Fine; light scuff to edge of reverse, attractively toned. An excellent example of the early lifetime coinage of Philip.
