Nicolas II (1894-1917). Médaille d’Or, mort d’Alexandre III par P. Stadnitsky 1894, Saint-Pétersbourg.
NGC MS 62 (6142661-001).
Av. Légende en cyrillique avec date 20 octobre 1894. Dans un ouroboros, Buste à droite d’Alexandre III en uniforme, accosté de sa date de naissance et de son début de règne ; signature ПC.
Rv. Légende en cyrillique. Dans une couronne formée de deux branches, la Russie couronnée et agenouillée devant le tombeau de l’Empereur, surmonté d’une couronne, tandis qu’un ange debout indique la voie du ciel ; signature P. Stadnitsky sur le listel.

Proviendrait de la descendance d’Alexandre Friedrich Konstantin von Schleswig, prince d’Holstein-Gottorf Oldenbourg (1844-1932), petit-fils de Katharina Pawlowna (1788-1819), reine de Wurtemberg, fille du tsar Paul Ier et de Maria Fiodorovna.
NGC MS 62 (6142661-001). Quelques petites marques sur les listels. Légèrement nettoyée dans les champs. Spectaculaire médaille. Superbe.

裏面:キリル文字で銘文 冠状に組んだ2本の枝の内側に、冠の載せられた皇帝の墓、墓前にひざまずく冠を戴いたロシア。その前に立ち天国への道を指し示す天使。面上の縁に「P. Stadnitsky」の刻印

来歴:右記皇子の末裔より オルデンブルク・ホルシュタイン=ゴットルプ皇子 アレクサンドル=フリードリヒ=コンスタンティン・フォン・シュレースヴィヒ (1844-1932)、皇子の祖母はヴュルテンベルク王妃 カタリ―ナ・パヴロヴナ (1788-1819) 、王妃の両親は皇帝パーヴェル1世とマリア・フョードロヴナ

Obv. Inscription in Cyrillic with date October 20, 1894. In an ouroboros bust in uniform right, on both sides his birth date and reign start date; ПC signature.
Rv. Inscription in Cyrillic. In a wreath crowned Russia kneeling in front of the Emperor’s tomb, a crown above, while a standing angel points the way to heaven; P. Stadnitsky signature on the rim.

NGC MS62. Slight marks on the rim. The fields show light cleaning. Spectacular medal. Extremely fine.
Provenance from the descendants of Alexander Friedrich Konstantin von Schleswig, Holstein-Gottorf Oldenburg Prince (1844-1932), grandson of Katharina Pawlowna (1788-1819), Queen of Württemberg, daughter of Tsar Paul I and Maria Fiodorovna.
