Malwa, Ujjaini Region, Local Ruler Jishnu (4-5 Century AD), Copper Unit, Obv: conch shell (shankha), Rev: Brahmi legend "Jishnu", 0.74g, 10.57mm, (Mitch. ACW # 4902/W. Pieper # 1058), about very fine, Rare. A boldly struck specimen with the king's name Jishnu completely visible. There is no inscriptional evidence of Jishnu, but he appears to have been a local ruler in the Ujjain region after the collapse of the Gupta empire.
